It's a new day, new dawn, new year.
What have I to revel in?
Since the last time I saw January begin, I've experienced new sorrows, new joys, new surprises. And so glad am I to have seen them all, for today I celebrate new friendships, new ambitions, new habits, new attitudes, new love.
A year older, I find myself an equally wiser and better human being. And I can only hope that the year I've now begun will afford me such a wealth of living as the one I bade goodbye last night, in the glow of the great blessings that in 2011 I was both able to hang on to, and to find.
